Spirit Statement

I am the Office Manager of CIPS. I grew up on the Curve Lake First Nation. I left for college and then worked in Ottawa for almost 10 years. At Nortel, our team created the software that was used to develop the iPhone. I had unique access rights to all international documents and I prepared presentations that were highly technical in nature.
A unique career opportunity led me to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As an executive assistant, I was involved with the opening of a major South Florida tourist destination. I assisted VIP's and celebrities. I handled business relations dealing with Hurricane Katrina (pre, during, and post). I helped the CEO during the purchase of the Hard Rock brand and during state negotiations for the implementation of Class III gaming. I stayed there for 11 years until I decided to return home to my First Nation.
I have 23 years of combined administrative experience. I am fueled by my passion to create efficiency and help my teammates to ensure our organization and our team succeeds. I am loyal and trusted. I have references from the CEO of Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International, and also from a former FBI agent. I understand the importance in data security, privacy and administrative excellence.
I have a can-do attitude and will strive to achieve company goals.
