Community Energy Champion

 Training and Support

In order for a community to reach its energy goals, it is critical that there is a person available to drive and coordinate the completion of energy related initiatives within the community in the form of a community energy champion.

We provide services to help Indigenous communities and organizations obtain a community energy champion, identify candidates for the position, and ensure that they have the capacity to do their job.

Our expert staff can provide one-on-one energy training, workplan development, and ongoing support for community energy champions as they navigate their new roles within the community.

We can also assist the community energy champions in identifying and applying to other training programs that will help them build the energy related capacity.
